    6:45-7:15pm — EXPLORE Presentation
    7:15-7:30pm — Questions

The Cognitive Abilities Test or CogAT is used to assess students’ abilities in reasoning and prob-lem solving using verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal (spatial) symbols. We will be discussing what these scores mean and how they can be better used to understand the learner.
The EXPLORE Student Score Report gives information about student knowledge, skills, interests, and plans. Teachers, students, and parents can use this information while planning high school coursework and beginning to think about college and work. We will cover the following topics: How to understand scores on the EXPLORE tests and how scores compare to those of other students across the nation. How the information contained in the report can help with educational and career plans, interests, high school coursework plans, and the amount of help needed in seven areas.

    Note:
Parents and Staff do not need to RSVP.
Babysitting is not provided; although we encourage age— appropriate attendance.
Information will be posted after the seminar on Jeffco GT website.
Any cancelations will be announced on 303-982-6650
